In response to customer research, Brushwood have developed the 'Brushwood Basics' range, consisting of simplified farm buildings with less detail, but offering grat playability at a more affordable price. (Plus for those with existing farmyards, easy expansion!!)This range is built to cater for the carpet farmer who requires simple extra space to house that ever-increasing range of farm machinery and/or that growing herd. These uncomplicated buildings comprise of solid wooden walls (4mm) with removable roof sections for unhindered play. The exterior of the sheds are screen printed in a realistic corrugated effect and are a perfect compliment to our detailed authentic range.

This huge shed is ideal for any arable farmer looking to keep his crops dry and secure for the winter. Two sliding doors allow tractor and trailer access into the large storage area which is centrally partitionedby an internal divider. There is an inspection platform with hand rail running the full length of the shed which is accessed by a ladder and hinged door located on the front wall. The internal divider can be removed to allow the shed to be used for any other farming purposes you can think of! 450g bag of bulk arable crop included.

The 2007 Additions

We have often been asked on many occasions as to what can be done with the farmbuildings. Here are some staged sets that will give both the beginner and the more experieced modeller an impression! Enjoy!

The newly released Brushwood buidlings, showing from left to right the Lambing Shed (BT7000), Tractor & Implement Shed BT5000, and the Big Bale Shed (BT6000) the display shows the versatility of the buildings - removable roof panels allow fro ease of access while still having a fair degree of realism.

The Big Bale Shed (BT6000) shown with the optional Livestock feeder pack (BT2060). This converts the building into winter shelter for the farm's beef herd, all to the common 1/32 Britains Scale. The Britains herd have never had it so good.

Looking into the Brushwood Farmyard - the stockman's Deutz 4.57 is parked outside of the Lambing Shed, (BT 7000), whilst the Big Bale Shed (BT 6000) serves as winter shelter - looks like a supplement of beef nuts is on the way!! Meanwhile the feeder wagon is readied for another day.
